Understanding the Fund’s Added Value presents Education Cannot Wait (ECW)'s unique proposition to deliver quality education to the children and youth left furthest behind in emergencies and protracted crises. An estimated 75 million children and youth are currently denied access to education and “Humanitarian Speed with Development Depth” is needed to fill the gaps. This brief shows ECW’s efforts to do so through less bureaucracy and more accountability, bridging relief to development and translating the World Humanitarian Summit’s vision into action.
