The ECW Multi-Year Resilience Programme (MYRP) 2021-2023 in Nigeria is aims to reach a total of 2.9 million children and adolescents (including 55% of girls). The ECW seed funding kickstarts this ambitious initiative, concentrating on the states of Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe. The programme aims to provide educational opportunities to over 482,000 children, distributing resources across various educational levels: approximately 48,000 in early learning, 341,000 in primary education, and 93,000 in secondary education, spanning both formal and non-formal settings. The MYRP interventions focus on: 1) Continued delivery of strong education in emergencies programming; 2) Mainstreaming of learners into formal education; 3) Addressing cross cutting issues, with a special focus on gender, disability and mental health and psychosocial support; 4) Strengthening educator and school leader capacities and motivation; 5)Strengthening local leadership to take full ownership of delivery and transitions to formal education.
