Colombia recibirá US$12 millones para la educación de niños migrantes en el país

A pesar de los esfuerzos del Gobierno de Colombia para extender el estatus de protección temporal a personas venezolanas en Colombia, los niños y niñas continúan sin realizar su derecho humano a una educación de calidad. En 2021, la tasa de deserción fue de 3,62 % (3,2 % para niñas y 4,2 % para niños). La cifra casi se duplica para personas venezolanas al 6,4 % y alcanza el 17 % para los niños y niñas que padecen de desplazamientos internos.

El Programa de resiliencia multianual de ECW en Colombia es entregado por UNICEF y el consorcio de ONG liderado por Save the Children, que incluye al Consejo Noruego para Refugiados, World Vision y Plan Internacional.
