ECW Annual Results Report 2019 - Stronger Together in Crises
This Annual Results Report presents the progress made by ECW in 2019. It captures ECW’s performance as it increased its operations, distributing $130.7 million – more than in 2017 and 2018 combined – to 75 grantees in 29 countries. While donors increased their focus on education in emergencies and protracted crises by investing $578 million in 2018, the funding gap remains very large. ECW calls for stronger engagement from traditional donors, increased participation of foundations and the private sector, the development of innovative financing modalities, and the operationalization of the ‘New Way of Working.'
