Tariq Al Gurg tells Davos 2021 that funds for education were falling even before the Covid-19 pandemic and if the global community does not act now to safeguard education there is a great risk that children’s learning will fall behind further than it already has due to the global pandemic.

In an interview with the Telegraph Yasmine Sherif, director of Education Cannot Wait, highlighted the crises faced by people in the Central Sahel region and called on countries to do more to protect the lives of school children.
