The Multi-Year Resilience Programme (MYRP) 2020-2023 in Syria aims to reach 3.4 million children. It is focused on re-engaging children in education, providing them with equitable access to safe and inclusive learning environments where children acquire foundational, socio-emotional, life and, where relevant, vocational skills necessary to continue their education and be prepared for adult life. The programme addresses the needs of children who are out of school or at risk of dropping out due to factors such as poverty, disability, displacement, or being Palestine refugees. It incorporates various elements, including social protection measures, accessible learning spaces (especially tailored for children with disabilities), enhanced teaching practices, the provision of learning materials, and psychosocial support, all while emphasizing the importance of fostering inclusive educational pathways and encouraging community engagement.
