This case study was produced by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) as part of an Education Cannot Wait (ECW)-supported Global Partners’ Project, bringing together the Global Education Cluster (GEC), UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE). This case study analyzes how actors can more effectively coordinate planning and response to strengthen education outcomes for children and young people affected by crises. Focusing on the Democratic Republic of Congo, this report provides background research, country context, analyzes actors, analyzes the coordination environment and the impact efforts have on coordination. Conclusions and recommendations are provided to improve joint efforts in the future.
